Low-Carbon Lifestyle

Pitched (14th October, 2010)

A team of students are developing ideas for new products, services and businesses that will help people in the society to adopt a low-carbon lifestyle. The goal of the project is a 1-day workshop that brings together students and professionals to brainstorm together for ideas to change people’s lifestyles. The project is part of think tank Demos Helsinki’s Peloton project, which tries to influence gatekeepers in the society, such as mothers, large restaurant chains and chain stores, to change their behavior and therefore enable citizens to adopt a wholesome low-carbon lifestyle. The student team is working on the project as part of an interdisciplinary course at Aalto University called How to Change the World.

The team is looking for students and professionals interested in sharing their ideas, skills and knowledge on how to promote a low-carbon lifestyle.
For more information, contact Lisa or follow their developments on their blog.
